Insurance Reform Policy

Insurance reform policy aims to protect and enhance local, indigenous businesses and community organisations by tackling the root causes of excessive insurance costs, while ensuring a fair compensation system for genuine claimants.

Insurance Reform Policy

Using a triple bottom line approach (financial, social, and environmental sustainability), this policy seeks to stabilize insurance costs so that SMEs, community groups and individuals can thrive and continue to play a central role in our society. My vision is an insurance and compensation framework that is fair, affordable, and efficient. By drawing on international best practices (such as those in Sweden and Germany) and consulting all stakeholders, my policy aims to reform Ireland’s system over five years to reduce litigation, lower excessive awards, and cut costs for policyholders.
